Ethics in documentary content

5things Studios agrees with the ethical principles established by the Center for Media and Social Impact.

1. Honor your (vulnerable) subjects. Protect them from attack and don't leave them worse off than when you met them.

2. Honor your viewers. Make sure that what they understand to be true and real wouldn't be betrayed if you told them where and how you got that image.

Our goal in documentary film making, as well as with all 5things Studios projects, is to make the best content possible, and provide viewers with a meaningful, thought provoking experience, while ensuring the safety and sanctity of subjects.
