Ida had never really stood out. In high school she had what her mother termed, a “boyish figure.” She overheard her college boyfriend referring to her as “plain but reliable.” In the last fight before her divorce, when Eugene admitted that he was cheating on her with a woman he met at a slam poetry night, he had screamed that she had the body and personality of “tapioca.” But as Ida faces living alone for the first time in her entire life, she discovers something amazing…Ida is invisible…and its awesome!
